There are many screen print styles and inks to choose from to give your product the desired look on almost any type of fabric. Screen printing works best on cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, hemp fabric and canvas. The following is a brief explanation of the most common treatment applications.




One Colour DesignOne ink colour is used for a simple, sharp image or for a subtle look.
• A sharp image is achieved through contrasting ink and garment colours.

• A subtle image is achieved through complementary ink and garment colours or through a tone on tone print.
Spot Process Design
• Two or more ink colours are used to achieve a bold image of solid blocks of colour.

CMYK Design
• Overlapping, mixed amounts of CMYK inks (black, red, yellow, blue) are layered to achieve a full colour image
(note a CMYK print can only be printed on white fabrics).

High Density Print
• Layers of high density ink are printed one at a time and flash cured and printed again to create a raised, 3-D print.

Foil Print
• Garment Foil transfer process is completed by heat pressing sheets of foil on top of a base layer of ink with the desired one colour image or text.

Puff Print
• An additive is added to the ink to create a soft 3-D print.

Glitter Print
• Glitter is added to ink colours to achieve a sparkle to any ink colour.

Embroidery Options
There are several embroidery treatment styles and threads to choose from to give your product the desired look. Embroidery is typically best for small logos for hats, jackets, and polo shirts. The following is a brief explanation of the most common treatment applications.

Basic Embroidery - A variety of thread colours can be used to achieve a great amount of detail on almost any surface.
Puff Embroidery - Thread is stitched over a foam backing to create a 3-D image.
Metallic Embroidery - Silver, gold, or copper threads are used to give the artwork a metallic look.
